Morning was spent at Watoto Bulrushes. It is a baby home in Kampala operated through the Kampala Pentecostal Church and begun by people in Canada. It was so different than even the hospital. It was clean. 96 babies, many mothers and many more volunteers. When I say mothers I do not mean the children's mothers but there's always 1 or 2 people per room of 10 - 20 children who are the head and they are called the mother's, the children call them mama too. I fed one named Isaac and got my picture taken with him to show my Isaac.
I am still amazed at the sheer number of orphans!!
This afternoon I played hide and go seek with the children at New Creation Family Home. They got a new swingset today and they loved it. Just 2 swings but they just kept swinging and taking turns. So much joy in that home. I'm sure there's sorrow sometimes but more than anything there is love and joy.
I want my house to be a house of love and joy.

I love ya Erika, can't wait for you to come home. Travel safely and enjoy your last couple days.
Hi Erika - I just tried to send a long note and it didn't go through so I'll try again! We are at the house today, got a butt-load of laundry to get done. We have had a wonderful week! Campfire, smores, the beach, walks, playground, etc. I have lots of pictures, didn't have the camera when we were at the playground, Kendall loved the slide, it was big so grandma was behind her as she went up and then she went down by herself, then around she'd come, she's a qt! Isaac had a hard night last night but we cried together and I told him mommy and daddy would both see him real soon. He was real happy today when we did our countdown and I told him mommy would be home in four days! Josh woke up around 6the past two days and walked up the steps to our bed and here he stood at the foot of our bed smiling...he crawled in bed with us the one morning he was full of kisses I got about 20 or so, then papa woke up and got some too! He is so funny! He now has been giving us zerbee's on our cheeks. He has been so good, he's cutting his top two teeth and maybe the bottom ones too, they're pretty swollen, been running a fever and has had a LOT of poopy diapers, but through it all he's a real honey! he's walking so good! Still think he's a very smart boy that just can't tell us yet...he listens so intently and I know he understands. I have had so much fun, little tired but not as much as I thought I would be, God is good! I cry every time I read your blog, you are a wonderful young woman of God! I love your heart for His children! I miss you and can't hardly wait to hear you voice again soon. We're going to Danielle's open house tomorrow then on down to B/M and then we'll go to church with them on Sunday before heading back to Muskegon. Mark is going to meet us in TR. Love you much...MOM
